Rose Lawrence is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and the founder of My Guiding Light Counseling Services.  Rose obtained her Masters’ degree from East Carolina University in 2019.  Rose specializes in adolescents, young adults, adults, families; and is trained in Trauma-Focused Therapy.  Rose is also a Licensed Ordained Minister under the New Faith Deliverance Holiness Ministries located in Greenville, North Carolina. 

 

Treatment approaches Rose ascribes to are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Brief Solution Focused Therapy and Family Systems Therapy.  In addition to traditional counseling techniques, Rose also incorporates faith-based counseling to guide individuals on their paths to emotional, mental, education, and career wellness. 

 

Rose firmly believes that with the help of God, she can bring about a remarkable change in the lives of others; knowing that God can see what she cannot see and go where she cannot go, to bring about extraordinary change in one's life.  However, incorporating spirituality is an individual choice that will only be incorporated if so desired by the client.
